Alonso is an Electrical Engineer with an MBA title and has made a career in the power delivery industry, his last 10 years specializing in power and distribution transformers. Alonso has worked in various roles at Siemens, General Electric, and other global solutions providers before joining AURTRA as the VP of the Americas for Business Development. He is familiar with SCADA/EMS/OMS systems, substation automation, remote monitoring and with the functionality of all types of substation equipment as well as equipment “outside the fence”.
