Dr. Mahmud Bijan

Mahmud Bijan received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Birjand, Birjand, Iran, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, and a Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from Concordia University. His research interests include designing, modeling and fault diagnosis in electrical machines and transformers. Performance analysis, loss calculation and efficiency estimation of electrical machines and transformers are essential parts of his research. He is currently working as Senior Product Manager at EMWorks and focuses on electromagnetic finite element analysis of electrical devices such as electrical machines and transformers.
